Sharing food, conversation, and community
San Diego Drivers United met with rideshare and delivery drivers in the Uber and Lyft waiting area near Cross Border Xpress. Drivers shared rosca and coffee while discussing daily working conditions, airport and border-area transportation, safety, earnings, and ways to stay connected.
Small gatherings like this help drivers meet one another in person, exchange reliable information, and build a stronger local support network.
